It is really a challenge to run a Private Public school, particularly in a rural area, where you have a duty to motivate students as well as parents. However, I am surprised that I did it and did it well…..having hundreds of old students living their lives successfully and always eager to touch the feet out of sheer respect. Of course, I have to be tough, otherwise the mission and project would have failed badly because in private projects, many negative forces which you have to counter and win. I had a very strong sense of commitment to work and duty, and everyone working with me had to have that, failing which he or she has to end her ways.
Children, when they come to us, are in a very impressionistic age; we have to mould and shape them into valuable ones. Objective of education is not only to teach them 3 r’s (reading, writing and arithematics); we have to make them very responsible citizens. We have been instilling many “SHUBH-KARMAN” qualities in them. Our intention is to make them eco-friendly also.
